Ronnie Whelan's Rock Road to Dublin Walking Challenge & Quiz Night



Legendary Liverpool and Republic of Ireland player Ronnie Whelan kicks off his Rocky Road to Dublin Walking Challenge this Thursday 29th April. There are 4 Stages of the Challenge.

By taking part you are helping to raise awareness and funds for the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Ireland. Ronnie's daughter Elizabeth was diagnosied with MG in 2005.

The 1st Stage: The Western Way will take place here in Co. Galway.
Distance: 50km
Grade: Moderate. This trail winds its way through Connemara's Highlands and offers scenic views of mountains, lakes & coast, including a great view of the fjord at Killary Harbour.

To coincide with the 4 Stages of the walk a number of seperate events are also taking place.
Here in the Connemara Suite of Hotel Meyrick, a Table Quiz - with MC Ollie Turner kicks off from 8.00pm on Friday April 30th.
